You can’t open the borders to the greatest country to ever exist and not expect every hopeful thinking person in the world to try and get themselves and their whole family into it.
That's how my ancestors got here. I would imagine its the same for nearly everyone else on this forum.
My ancestors saved their money, booked passage and worked their tails off to become Americans ASAP. Took a couple generations to make it here.
There was not a social welfare safety net. You were not able to show up at a hospital and receive free healthcare or child birthing. You did not go to school and demand they serve your style food, hire translators and study your culture.
So is this what America as Venezuela looks like?
