I have an M11 and would like more HP but honestly it's enough most of the time. I'm curious what length of grade and how steep. I can hang with newer fleet trucks on the interstate on the few hills I travel. Emissions seem to rob HP on newer trucks
I drive a low hp truck by choice.
I see all my buddies getting the “crack cocain diesel addiction”.
Need more more more more hp.
Then boom
Takes $$$ to get reliable hp for the long haul. There are some exceptions tho.
Lower gear ratio would be the answer but you may lose a lot of top end if you want to fly over the hill. | 
Semi sucks on the hills!
