I have had good luck with the ScanGauge in our trucks.
The last one I bought had a cable that didn't work when new, took one out of our other truck and it works fine, they sent me a new cable free of charge.
I am always following the boost pressure, water temp, oil temp when driving, the 4th option depends on the truck. Our trucks don't have a boost gauge in the dash.
Semi sucks on the hills!
