I’d say you got what you paid for which is not a bad thing. Looks like a nice truck for only 8k even if it’s gutless. Our 05’ Pete’s have 450 hp C15 cats with 10 speeds and we only have to drop one gear maybe 2 pulling long grades 80,000 to 88,000lbs. I’ve never known medium block engines to be great in hills.
