far sNSW , Australia | John, even over here in Australia your posts have encouraged us. My wife and I and our 4 grown kids are basically on a low carb diet for about a year now. One of my mates started as well, and he and his wife have stopped snoring, and he's back to his marriage weight from 25 years ago. We didn't have any particular bad health conditions, but I'm sure we were probably both pre diabetic. I've lost 10 kg. My wife has lost some also. We've found our joint pains have improved substantially. I'm sleeping better. Meals are easier, just steak or chops and maybe a few veges. I don't miss bread anymore (makes me feel sick). Still struggle a bit with feeling bored and wanting treats. Getting some gourmet cheeses for snacks has helped. Thanks again. | |
