 Central ND | Thanks for posting this. The biggest problem with clutch adjustment is everyone that adjusts brake squeeze first usually ends up adjusting the release bearing anyway, and then has to go back and re-adjust the linkage because they got it too tight to get proper free-pedal. I normally don't try and change people's minds on this matter. Misadjusted clutches usually turn into clutch replacements when the release bearing fails, or the hubs tear out from being too jumpy, and then everything gets to be new and works again. | |
