North Dakota | You need to adjust the transmission brake before you adjust the clutch release. To adjust the brake you lengthen or shorten the clutch lever linkage until the release bearing makes contact with the trans brake when the pedal is about 1.5 inches off floor. Once the brake is adjusted you can adjust the clutch itself. You turn the ring counterclockwise to decrease freeplay and clockwise to increase freeplay. You lose freeplay as the clutch wears. | |
