Back then ru would take care of everything by itself then it's not that expensive. Now you have to add a lot more chemicals with it to get the same control.
This here. If it controlled everything it did to begin with it wouldnt be so bad. But now here at least its not much more than a grass herbicide.
We began using it to take care of quack, hemp dogbane, milk weed, and marestail. We never had much luck going after any thistles, and it was useless on yellow nutsedge.
Stinger was the first game changer on thistle we had any luck at all with. It was determined in the early 80's ( by Bill Meggitt) that we had growth regulator resistant Canada thistle. Glyphosate didn't seem to do the trick, and neither did anything else. Basagran made us feel good for a year, didn't control them however.
