Subject: RE: Cost of Roundup in the 70's

East Central Arkansas

I remember it being $75 a gallon here in the 70's.  It's strange that I can't kill oak trees with it on our ditch banks when I spot spray them.  I do think and know there has been many trees damaged by it especially when they get hit with the mixtures of other chemicals that is used with roundup in burndown sprays. We still have a good bit of woodland with timber on it around here and I think it's going to be too late when folks finally realize what's happening when some of these mixes are sprayed by air to fields and it gets in the tops of trees.
