If all of the animals went on Noah's boat, the boat would have to have sailed all over the place and would have needed to be quite big. All of the apex predators would have eaten their prey animals, then starved themselves. Where did they store the food for the animals? If there were just a male and female of each species, that would have made all animal life on earth terribly inbred.
