And I've never seen a check valve except where I noted. The DNR would not allow another check valve as far as I know, if the pitless adapter or something else was leaking it would allow the well to be contaminated. Dairy inspector would not allow it either.
I'm assuming this is a relatively modern submersible pump, not a two pipe jet pump.
