Subject: RE: who grows corn without using NH3?

Central Indiana
I've always been a NH3 sidedress fan. It's just so pretty a few days later. Breaking up a little ground, airing it out, getting N to it quickly. Gives a nice boost. Plus I have a fortune in my applicator, vod, nitro alert, the whole works. I didn't want to spend a bunch of money on 32 rig.

After a little accident with NH3 5 years ago, i got to thinking. If is was worth it, and considering when the corn plant need the most N. So a neighbor and have been doing side by side trials, as well as 10 ac sections. We've really not seen any noticible differences. Imho for here, if we get the rains to move it, 32 along with micros maybe a better fit. Just my 2 cents.

Does anyone need a good NH3 applicator? Lol
