Wild guess but would say 95% of eastern ND/NW MN is all urea up front with a floater. We use Nh3 but are definitely in the minority.

Every 5-10 years a new fad will be used/tried for a few years. 10 years ago was liquid side dress rigs for thio/28 and 5 years ago was Y drops. Both of those seemed to peter out after a year or two.
