Yes. My wife does every year, and has for 40 years.
edit to clarify, after asking the cook:
She cooks it down, 4 hours +/-.
Then she puts it in jars, put lids on, put in boiling water bath for 15 minutes.
She does NOT put it up in quarts, 1/2 pints and pints only.
