This is why, I would prefer to send it up the smokestack as a finished product, eg., ethanol, or bio diesel. Let somebody else supply the world with raw corn and beans. We Can suffice the feeders and the refineries, if we wanted to. But for some reason, we refuse to move to e15, etc., to accomplish that. It must be that mythical free market everyone talks about, where nations and multinationals don’t try to stack the deck in their favor.

We allowed to have e15, that cracks me up. I remember the day a while back that some agency or person said fuels suppliers are ALLOWED to use e15. It just cracked me up because many thought this would add value to corn. Why would big oil use something they are ALLOWED to use that takes money away from themselves?

A mandate doesn’t even force them to use e10, ie, sre’s. I am not a fan of mandates, currently I am mandated to wear a mask, and that costs me nothing, of course, other than my personal freedoms. But of course there are exceptions to the mask deal also, you get a waiver if you have health issues.

I am with you husker, let’s burn our way out of this problem.
