I appreciate your encouragement to play the board and I understand that you are trying to help... unfortunately most farmers don’t have the time or resources to gather enough credible information to make a educated decision on what positions to take... traders think it’s easy... and maybe it is if you work at it 8-10 hours a day... I’m busy farming full time most days... I’m not trying to pick your suggestions apart I’m just pointing out for most average farmers it’s not as easy as it sounds ... at at the end of the day with all the information a person can gather unexpected things happen and markets change ... and there is a cost to changing your position... I suspect every trader in Chicago would love for every farmer to play the board ... kinda like a professional poker players playing 7 card stud with amateur gin rummy player
