Nw Iowa
The problem is that a bushel of corn is pretty much a bushel of corn. I get alittle frustrated when someone says that they deserve to make more money because they are a farmer and work hard. Look around and see other businesses that are no longer in business. They deserved to make a profit too but somebody delivered a better product cheaper or their product or service was no longer needed. I have been a farmer for almost 45 years, work hard and stick up for farmers but every time I hear the I am getting screwed thing it gets old. We are on a assembly line to just produce more cheaper. If you think you are entitled to make a profit because you have so much invested wake up. I hear how parts guys are screwing everybody etc so we go on internet and find low cost guy but we expect to get paid a premium for a generic product. Why should we be different than anybody else? The world is a lot different place than it was.
