I understand everything your saying and they are all valid points... my problem is that just because China says they are going to buy US grain doesn’t mean they will actually take delivery... and the market has apparently recognized this... because after huge sales the market actually goes down... am I off base with this assumption? Not to mention we are subsidized with tax payer $s so we are essentially subsidizing communists... it’s frustrating to me and it seems the Chinese are using our free markets agains us.... unfortunately it’s difficult for farmers who raise corn and soybeans not do something different when all the infrastructure is geared toward taking delivery of corn and soybeans... it’s a bad deal all around with no good answers... I guess In the end we are free to raise something else and find or develop a market for that crop ourselves... easier said than done
