Get historical charts out and look at what prices did every time after big highs. If it makes people feel good blamebit on whatever you want. Every one of us had the opportunity to sell 4 plus futures for months. I’m guessing that it is the current presidents fault that we did not. We made a new big high in 2012. It stimulated overproduction throughout the world. After big highs prices go ton12.5% of range because of it.
I’ve talked about it for years on here. The exact date isn’t known but the fact it’s going there is.
The charts are irrelevant when it comes to how he got us involved in trade wars and killed the markets. I’m not complaining about not making good sales and I don’t blame my lack of sales on him. However he did get us in a trade war and hurt the markets so who’s to blame for that? Again, i agree on the overproduction issue, when corn was 7 dollars everybody planted as much as they could. We as farmers love planting corn and when the price is that high of course everyone will plant more. |
