If you don't already have the 4020 I would be looking at a larger tractor than the 4020. I think you might get more tractor for the same or less money than the 4020. I have two 4020 tractors but the old 4520 is much more tractor. I wouldn't look for a 4520 but a 4620 with the better engine. The only other tractor of that age that I am familiar with is a IH 1066 which is a stout pulling tractor but not as durable or driver friendly as the JD. The ability to carry heavier 3 point hitch loads with those larger tractors is a good thing even when you don't need all the power.
