North Central Illinois | I agree that it will have to run it’s course. The whole idea behind the distancing and any quarantines is to slow this thing down or flatten the curve as they say. That prevents hospitals from being overwhelmed and unable to care for the daily challenges like car wreck victims and heart attacks. Having your local hospital filled to the rafters with Covid19 patients would suck if a loved one was critically injured or sick and could not get medical attention because of all the Covid19 patients. Eventually all hospitals are going to see Covid19 cases but hopefully we can slow it down enough to where most can still care for other medical emergencies that arise. This has not been the case in a handful of big cities. They are truly overwhelmed. Just too many people living too close together. | |
