Subject: RE: What is a postive air meter in white planters

East Central Nebraska
have a 6100 12 row white wing fold and ran 8 row 5100/6100 white for years. I've run Kinze finger pick-up also for the neighbor. My hands were always dirty from the graphite with the Kinze. Hated that. Not that I have clean hands all the time, but everything else got black too when I touched it. No graphite or talc for the white. I really like our white planter and order rounds, but seems 50/50 when the seed comes. I almost always use the small plate and run more pressure on big seed. To me the stand is about as good as it can get. I don't have a fancy monitor to tell me the % but looks great when it comes up. I have never had a problem with a shaft breaking. Orbital motor does not required alot of hydr flow if running from the tractor instead of a PTO pump. I believe it is 3-4 gpm at most and probably only at that rate when running a higher psi. Friend of mine has the 20/20 monitor and precision meters on his white 9000 series. He is absolutely sold on that planter and meter as he has OCD when it comes to spacing and stand.
