NC corn basis -.40 vs Dec
Current basis -.03 vs March
July basis +.00 vs July
Worth more than the carry here....
Edit: can haul more efficiently to end users that are further away when the combine isn't waiting on you also. Logistical savings of keeping the machine moving is worth as much as carry and basis appreciation combined.
