SW OH | I'm surprised no one mentioned a MF 1085. Dad bought one new in 74. It's first job was hauling manure. On the second day the axle housing cracked. In 6 months the drawbar got torn off. It had hammer in it to shift gears. It free wheeled when multi-power was in low, I almost took out the old milkhouse. At around 1500 hours it burned a hole between cylinders 1 and 2. The second time it did that we shipped it down the road.
IH 1086 gets my second vote.
