Sunburst Montana | Head cracking IH diesels were a problem around here and every time I bring that up I get shouted down by the binderiods. But a few honest IH guys have admitted it to me over the years. The head on our TD 14A cracked twice. And I know grandpa used the correct procedure and cool down period when shutting it off. We also had JD 2 cylinder diesels at the time and none of them cracked the heads. And I haven’t run across a Case 500-930 that cracked the heads either. | |
