For everyone that says a certain model was a lemon, someone else will say it was the best piece they ever bought.
I'm an IH/CIH person but I never loved the 2+2's. I always found the only one I ever ran to be awkward, rough riding and kind of a lemon. Same with a 2640 Deere later on. Not so much that it was mechanically terrible, I just didn't care for it. Any Deere with that owl cage cab and the 8 speed Powershift is not high on my list either. Never cared for the cab design and not near enough gears for field use. Deere did fix that with the 50 series and the 15 speed P/S. | |
