The updated 560 rear end was still used on the 656,666, 686 and Hydro 70 without hardly any problems so at least IH figured out a good solution to the problem. The 4430s also had a factory rear end update but everybody gives Deere a pass on them.
Or 4840's not one of the them has the original rear end in or actually on them them, many of the earlier ones being replaced at least twice before deere got it right.
Or the 30 and 40 series John Deere 4-wheel drives, it always made me laugh when somebody would advertise one that the engine was updated to a "50" series. Like that was any better.
