I'll go with AC 6060, definite step back from the JD 2640 it replaced.
To me it was always slow, awkward, narrow, and top heavy.
It made a good auger tractor, could stand on the ground and reach the PTO and throttle.
I think the last time I drove it was trying to get 2 row planter hooked on the 3 point to plant sweet corn.
Cousin walked in, I said: "Every time I drive this tractor I know why AC went out of business."
A few weeks later, cousin #2 rolled and totaled it.
I've driven AC 7040, 7045, 7060, 7080, and 8070, but the 6060 was the worst.
Not a big fan of International XX86 series either, hated the door on the cab. | |
