North Central Illinois | Good questions Ron and I don't have all of the answers. I think a lot of it is overhead. Their office space is probably very reasonable. They have little or no insurance expense. Liability and malpractice being the two biggest ones. They don't have to deal with filing insurance claims for patients either. I imagine their staff makes considerably less than comparable staff in the states. Taxes? I don't know what if any income tax they have down there but I suspect it is kind of meaningless since cash is king. I think when you add it all together you get a much, much lower overhead which allows them to charge a lot less and still be very profitable. Remember, the cost of living is pretty cheap down there compared to here. | |
