chris dds - 1/5/2019 14:48 You are going to get responses from people that say how great, wonderful, and CHEAP it is to have your dental work done in Mexico. However, as a US practicing dentist, I would try my hardest to discourage anyone that I care about to NOT subject themselves to south of the border dentistry. You have no idea what they consider to be the standard of care, infection control standards, dental materials, medications, etc. The risk of poor quality dentistry that fails after you get back home is certainly a consideration, but what value do you put on your overall health and safety? I have seen patients that had very poor treatment in McCallen Texas...what I would consider below the US standard of care.

I agree, don't go down there unless you are dead broke, and don't care much about your health.
