gypwater, agreed that if you don't need it, you just end up with expensive urine.

BUT, if you do need certain mineral or vitamins,  confirmed by blood tests, make sure it is in a form that your body can utilize. John SD, B12 taken orally may not be absorbed in the intestine if you do have the metformin side effect.

I had blood work done before my colonoscopy; showed very high iron, Dr. was so concerned, that the procedure was postponed until second test showed more normal levels. I forget what dr. said what causes high readings; I told him it was the stress from thinking about him looking up my backside with a camera.
