Subject: I think ours discovered crooked too.

Eastern VA. No such thing as too many Magnums.
10 years ago, coop was easy to deal with. Now it is cost prohibitive to instal new services unless they are directly below the main line. You may have seen my post last week regarding a new phase line. One single 9500' wire on existing poles, for $83,000. I tried to help them come up with an alternative solution, they wouldn't budge a penny, and we finally said forget it. However if some welfare crack head puts a trailer 8 miles down a dirt road, they'll run new poles and two strands of wire for free to them, because it's residential. Tell me whose infrastructure it was worth installing? The crack head for $100/month that he probably won't pay, or mine for $15,000 per month with the reputation of having always paid for dozens of years? We have 18 different hookups with this coop and always pay on time. Some of them are major loads with big use. I was really hot, but what can I do.
