Subject: funeral lunches, what does your church do?

MW ON
I've been busy today setting up for a funeral and going through the list of people to call for sandwiches or sqaures. Just wondering how other churches do it? Is there an easier way?

Each person is asked to bring either loaves of uncut sandwiches, or two dozen sqaures. I almost wonder if it would be more efficient to just buy the loaves and the filler and have a bee making sandwiches. Squares can always be purchesed at M&M meat shops. As it stands, there are 40 people coming from all driections to drop off their contribution. Perhaps this is not the most efficient way to do things.

I am also concerned with quality control. I think we are soon approaching the time in which we will have to do things that way, as in assembled at church.

What happens at your church? Any different ideas of things you have served? Thanks!
