Nc Ks. | Guy that owns our local radio station was on the air a couple years ago stating that passing zones were for vehicles traveling the speed limit, not slow moving farming equipment. It angered me to think here is an adult, farm raised as a kid, part time farmer advocating this. I have to travel a two lane blacktop county road and am regularly passed right before the crest of a hill. Another vehicle from the opposite direction at highway speeds will have no chance to avoid a head on collision. To me it's just another example of the lack of common sense today. It's one thing to argue the above scenario in a private vehicle but in a school bus with a load of kids? Really? | |
