I probably should have bought STOCK in Coke and Pepsi 40 years ago as a retirement plan and avoid drinking it myself totally. I can hardly believe how expensive it has become in my lifetime.As a little kid you could buy a glass returnable bottle for a dime and then for 15 cents and when I graduated it was .25 cents a can at the school machine..Kids hardly even bought any of it back then due to the price and a quarter was hard for kids to get ahold of. . (3.75$ wheat) ..then in stores soon after, the bigger single bottles are buck...then 2 for 2 $ then 2 for 2.50, now 2 for 3.00 and I think its even higher already. and that listed like its a special deal or something....... ugh..since when should 2 twenty ounces of sugar water cost more than a bushel of corn or 40 pounds of wheat . Its just dumb expensive in relationship.
