Iowa | That sounds like what I used to do. It started in college so that I could stay awake and study. Later it was to stay awake and work late on the farm. Over the next 30 years diet soda became almost my only source of fluids from the moment I would wake up until I went to sleep. I'd have some more if I got up in the middle of the night. Any disruption to the flow of caffeine would cause a bad headache.
I quite cold turkey. It was miserable for about a month, but then got better. I don't crave the caffeine anymore, but it is harder to stay awake at night.
-Would have done well to have bought stock in Pepsi when I was younger and to have sold it when I quite drinking it. | |
