Just one farm too many upset their 'apple cart'
Not sure what might happen in this period of rising prices, most land around here is being bought by dairy operations.
Milk production may be profitable for GOOD dairy farmers and several around here came to this country with a nice big bankroll to start. Many are now trying to expand to bring sons into the operation but the mortgage must be big on many of these operations with new barns and more land all the time plus the additional quota and animals. | |
