S.E. Sask. | Buster 50 - 4/25/2018 07:53 How much farmland is in region 3 and 4? What kind of crops can be grown there? Are the prices inflated because of urban sprawl or are they being bought to continue raising crops?
My guess is that those high land prices, in a lot of cases, are not being paid by farmers but by outside investors who see land as a safe place to park their money and make some interest. Rent it out to some eager farmer willing to pay ridiculously high rent. |
