east central iowa | Wouldn't he have had to put at least 30 percent down? If he didn't he would have had to have a qtr paid for to leverage wouldn't he? Probably wasn't buying the ground that hurt him my guess is he lost a lot of money on high cash rent and is liquidating land for cash flow. Have heard of this in my area this year and the ground the operation let go was not high priced. I'm sure overpriced land doesn't help the situation. | |
