Thanks for all of your valuable work and input. It is much appreciated. I am very much looking forward to the field day.

I do recall that thread. I am not convinced that that was done in a field with the weed seed bank I have where I plan to try this. I am talking 5x the velvet leaf density of the picture a couple comments down. This is a 15 acre piece that was used intermittently as dry lot in the 90's and had a full stand of mature weeds numerous times.

That work in Wisconsin sounds promising. However I do this, I will let you know how it works out. If I pick up a high residue cultivator over the winter, I will definitely go on 30" rows. If not, I may keep hunting for someone with a no till drill.
