The university began renting the land about 25 years ago but the farm is a unique 80 acres that NEVER has had conventional management (i.e., chemical weed control).

We have been making progress in controlling weeds but the weed seed bank is still HUGE as is evident in the conventional till soybean field adjacent to our no-till experiment :(.

I will post some pics of the conventional till beans this evening.
