I had only a 40ac. farm that I drilled some annual rye and mostly cereal rye that went back to beans. Planted in 30" rows the 26th of April. I only used Roundup because there was only a very weeds at planting. Post sprayed in late May and things looked great. Then out of the blue, Marestail showed up. Not a hugh amount, but way more than I like which is nothing. Went back in with full rate of FirstRate and 40oz. of Roundup and smoked most of them and setback the rest. Very happy with this. Other than Marestail which cereal rye is suppose to surpress, very happy with how these beans look. We have had some rain which with the mulch from the rye is keeping these beans looking great. Forgot to add, next year, Valour XLT will go on every field no matter what. Thought the rye would knock out everything. It does wonders, but not miracle worker.
