Subject: RE: organic no-till soybeans

We haven't tried no-till organic beans on wide rows but I know that some farmers and researchers are having success with organic no-till beans on 15" and 30" rows.

Last fall, a former student had ~ 170 acres of transitional organic no-till beans on 30" rows average > 50 bu/a.

you probably recall this thread: http://talk.newagtalk.com/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=584222

here is a link to a video that recommends 30" rows for organic no-till beans in WI:

PS I am thinking about planting more of our soybeans no-till next year. If we expand our no-till bean acres, we will probably try some beans on 30" and/or 15" rows.
