NorthWest Indiana | Neighbors on 2 sides didn't own livestock, didn't ask them for a dime, did ask them to check the string (fence line sight). No one objected to its placement. Third side is a road so a moot point. Fourth side guy had cattle, didn't want to update fence so it is the crappiest fence on the place. I have my hot wire on the inside of the old fence. Wouldn't have the guts to ask a non livestock neighbor to share cost of what I consider my fence. Now, with that said, when the neighbor "hooked" the fence with an implement and pulled it into his field, I did get cost of repairs from him. | |
