Subject: RE: Fence law

North Central Texas
We are open range here and fences are built for "courtesy." If your a neighbor then it is your responsibility to keep my cows out of your place.

In reality good neighbors share the cost and whoever has cattle keeps the fence fixed. One gets out on the road and gets hit by a Mercedes, they should have stopped and went around the purebred champion that cant be replaced cow. You assume the risk of cows out when you drive down most roads here.

Several counties passed closed range in elections but the state reversed all of them with state wide open range laws. My question would be is if you are open or closed range?
