I paid him a little too. That helped.
It was him coming on the job and him hearing from customers about his father. " I remember one time he stayed half the night to get our machine back up running" Heck they even accused me of fixing stuff I never fixed!!!.
My son now runs all the billing. Receivables .and a good portion of the field service.
Because of his help I was able to buy a farm for cash last year.
In your case it will probably be a little harder because he is a stepson.
