I haven't felt pressured to sell a crop in the last 10 years, and it's paid huge dividends in my ability to market. I believe I read where you wrote once that a good marketer should take all emotion out his decisions. Well when you have financial pressure to sell it's very difficult to remove all emotion from the decision. I think you misunderstood a lot of my post. It was more about marketing the majority of your grain on rallies rather than paying a premium to insure profitable levels.
From what I understand you are a buyer. Is your company profitable at $4 corn? If so have you purchased enough grain to full fill your companies needs for the next 2 years? If not, why? | |
