Nobody is forcing any of us to farm. The way I look at, I'm fortunate enough to do something I enjoy doing. I ACTUALLY GET TO FARM, I don't HAVE to. Not enough ground to make it my full time job, but building a pretty good retirement, and a decent estate to hand down to our girls.
I also work in town, but that's my choice, and not complaining.
I guess if it's so bad farming, the OP can get a job at mcdees and find out how much fun it is to punch a clock. And, wow, the pay there will set him up for life.
Seen and been (still am, for that matter) on both sides of the fence, and this side is better, hands down. And I'm not referring to just the money aspect. | |
