I agree completely. To make money is the only reason I farm. I guess I like having several months of downtime per year also.
I cant remember ANY months of downtime. Livestock standing at the fence bawling or squealing if I was an hour late for feeding. It was 7 days farming plus 40+ hour job. Maybe if some were more fully employed they could more appreciate what they have. I would go back to it in a heartbeat if I could. You dont see many stores where all they sell is 2 products. The most sucessful buisinesses are highly diversified and have many products and services to sell. It is unreasonable to see a shop that only sells brooms and dustpans. Expand your horizons and diversify and it will work for you. |
