| Do you make your house payment, vehicle payments, and pay your health insurance out of what you "take home" or does the farm pay for that? You might find a younger guy who would want to work like that for those wages, but a long term guy who wants to have/has a family will want more pay, or be off earlier more often. May be less opportunities in your area, so guys may be willing to work for less. Cost of living is likely lower too.
